UNFCCC COP20 & CMP10 Side Event in Lima, Peru

“Actions for low carbon development in developing countries through the Joint Crediting Mechanism”

 

The Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) which aims to facilitate diffusion of leading low carbon technologies etc., is under operation between Japan and 12 partner countries. This event that has been attended by more than 70 participants, has presented the current status and future expectations for the implementation of the JCM.

 

This side event has been selected as part of the “Pre-2020 Action Fair”, organized by the UNFCCC, following a request from the ADP, to showcase technical expert meetings in areas such as cross-cutting support for action.
