Outcome Report of UNFCCC COP21 & CMP21 Side Event in Paris, France

“The Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM): Achievements and current progress of project implementations”

 

The JCM is one of various approaches Japan and partner countries are jointly developing and implementing. The side event was held to share the recent progresses and expectations on the implementation of the JCM, and attended by around 50 participants including but not limited to government officials and experts.

Exhibition Booth

OECC and GEC provided the recent information related to the JCM and its supporting programs from the MOEJ. Information materials including the video report were displayed at an exhibition area. Around 200 visitors visited the booth during the 14 days with their respective views and inquiries about the JCM, including its latest status, designs and rules, and requirements for participation, showing their extremely keen interests in the JCM.
