COP23: UNFCCC official side event on sustainable Pacific Islands

Thank you very much for your kind attention at JCM / Technology Day held in the first week of the COP23 !! It was really a precious moment for us to exchange views among the participants. The event shared the key message that the JCM is one of effective tools for efficiently achieve NDCs through promoting technology transfer and sustainable development.

 

Since the COP23 is presided over by the Fijian Presidency, great attentions are paid to island countries’ effort on climate change. OECC, together with Republic of Palau and Okeanos Foundation, will organize a UNFCCC official side event, which focuses on sustainable Pacific Islands, building upon traditional knowledge as well as advanced technology. The event is attended by President of the Republic of Palau, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, President of the Republic of Nauru and Vice President of Federated States of Micronesia. The OECC will introduce the JCM projects contributing to Palau’s renewable energy target and we are looking forward to welcoming you all to the event!

 

The event will take place at 18:00 on Tuesday, 14 November 2017 at Meeting Room 9, Bonn Zone.
