Bangladesh: 50MW Solar PV Power Plant Project [Pacific Consultants Co.,Ltd.]

On 19 October, the signing ceremony has been held between Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and a power company, for the establishment of a large-scale solar PV power plant!

Bangladesh aims to increase renewable energy capacity by 3.1 GW by 2021. Located in Mymensingh Division, to the north of Dakha, 50 MW solar PV plant will definitely contribute to scale up the share of renewable energy in Bangladesh.

This project was selected under the JCM Financing Programme by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan in 2015.
