Japan and the Lao People's Democratic Republic signed the bilateral document to start JCM

August 7th, 2013, Ms. Junko Yokota, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Lao PDR and H.E. Mr. Noulinh Sinbandhit, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Lao PDR, signed the bilateral document of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Vientiane, Lao PDR. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the seventh country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, and Viet Nam.
